What is the European Travel Agent Forum?

The European Travel Agent Forum (ETAF) is an exclusive business to business event, designed to engage a hand-selected audience of North America’s top sellers with Europe’s leading travel providers.

When and where will the European Travel Agent Forum take place?

The Forum will be held on Terceira Island in The Azores, Portugal. Supplier dates are Thursday - Sunday, October 17-20, 2024

Who produces the European Travel Agent Forum?

The Forum is produced by Travel Show Marketing Group (TravelSMG), an independent event organizer based in the US with a growing portfolio of programs catering to global travel suppliers eager to engage with North American travel sellers.

The TravelSMG portfolio comprises both large-scale tradeshows as well as smaller boutique niche focused events. Details on our complete portfolio can be found at www.TravelSMG.com.

Who attends the European Travel Agent Forum?

The event will bring in a fully vetted audience of Travel Agent Professionals from across North America. The event offers a quality-over-quantity approach, selecting a maximum of 150 agent professionals, who represent significant annual sales production.

Do Travel Advisors pay to attend?

To support our commitment in bringing you face-to-face with the best and brightest in the industry, the Event Management team has implemented a hosted travel advisor program. This minimized any out-of-pocket expenses, allowing us to engage and attract the most qualified Travel Advisors to the Forum.

How do you determine Travel Advisor eligibility?

Our dedicated Travel Advisor Relations Team will hand select participating Travel Sellers through a rigid vetting process. Each delegate will submit a written application outlining details about their agency’s annual production and their year-to-year growth. In addition to the application, our Team will conduct phone interviews, professional reference checks, and reviews of their online/social presence to ensure the most qualified Travel Advisors who specialize in European destinations are in attendance.

What's the criteria for eligibility?

Only travel advisors who specialize in European travel will be eligible to attend. The average advisor in attendance will represent a minimum of $1 Million in annual sales production; have proven year-to-year growth; have a minimum of 50 percent of their leisure sales be from European destinations; and have a minimum of three years of experience as an advisor.
